Completed in one day, 8-hour** class with an option for a break for lunch. Other Lunch/Break options may be available depending on class size and other factors.

Certificate is awarded at successful completion of course.

* Due to the similarity in the base course concerning alcohol and drugs,  AOD & Marijuana class could be combined if there are scheduling issues around Holidays or other conflicts.  The additional material on Marijuana or Alcohol could be added and could potentially extend the duration of the class, however it would help avoid a cancellation and/or reschedule.

** Additional length  classes may be available if needed from out of state or counties outside of the Houston area. Ask for details on additional length course (12 hour or other options) when calling for information on the AOD class.  The expanded course study includes (but not limited to) short & long term Alcohol use and the medical complications it may cause,  additional focus on Marijuana, including the recent legalization of cannabis in some states and how those states have adjusted to issues that followed and good decision-making skills including the steps of change. The Level I or Level II courses can also be part of a development plan or an IOP. These expanded classes are scheduled on an "as needed" basis only and may require pre-payment or down payment to schedule.
